Thanks Davey
In the process of moving David has unearthed some real gems. This is one of them... Check out the wig-like hair. Looking good Coot.

American Idol?
A star is on the rise... Jen Wallace, future hit maker. You saw her here first, in a few months she's going to be all over the place headlining her own shows... in two words, borderline incredible.
Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Aiden went to his second baseball game last night (Monday) and it went much better than the first. I think part of the excitement was all of the food. He insisted on having pizza, lemonade, peanuts, popcorn and candy and he had all of it, minus the lemonade.
During the game, he was very concerned about what the pitcher said to the umpire to get thrown out and he'll tell you that he sang "Take me out to the ballgame" better than anyone else there!
He lasted until the 8th inning and did not want to go home, but the Mariners weren't playing well and Daddy had to work in the morning. He is not going to be happy when Daddy and Grandpa go to a game in August and don't have a ticket for him.

Happy Father's Day
Today was a perfect day! We took the kids to the pool in the morning. After a little coaxing Aiden finally got in and eventually had a great time. When we got home we went to the park to play baseball and ride bike/scooters. Quinn would NOT cooperate for pictures, as you can see. The sun was TOO bright for her! Can you tell she's from Seattle!!!
After quiet time we cleaned up around the house then went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner. Mom made a delicious meal (of course!) and we played outside in the backyard. After all of the rain and cold weather we've had lately we tried to squeeze in a months worth of outside time into a day- who knows how long it will last!?! It was a perfect Sunday...

Uncle Scotty and Kristen Visit!
Uncle Scotty and Kristen came up for the weekend to celebrate Grandpa's big 60th birthday. It was great to see them both and to introduce Kristen to the area. We all went to dinner at Palisade in Seattle on Saturday night. It was a beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent. The kids were VERY well behaved at dinner, our Sunday family dinners have paid off! It was nice to be able to take them to such a nice restaurant and not have people near us wish we weren't there! Sunday was Uncle Scotty's birthday and some friends of his came up from Portland and we all went to brunch at Hector's in Kirkland. The kids really like Hector's b/c they have a special treasure chest that they each get to pick a little toy out of after we eat. Quinn picked a magnifying glass that she used to "I spy" EVERYTHING in downtown Kirkland and Aiden picked a handheld roulette wheel- really! He even said as we were walking "Today is a perfect day for a roulette wheel game!" Vegas here he comes!
