First Day of School

September 9, 2009 was the first day of school for both the kids. Aiden started 1st grade and Quinn started pre-k. We started the day with the "Special" plate for Quinn and then took pictures with Jules before school. Jas took Quinn to school and I took Aiden. After school we had a cupcake party with Jules to celebrate! Both the kids had a great first day!

Taekwondo Testing

Aiden had a rank testing today at Taekwondo. He does so good and listens so well, we're so proud of him! He told me on the way to the test that it must be a lucky day for his test because he lost a tooth this morning! Good job dude!!!

Lost Tooth!!!

Aiden finally lost his first tooth this morning. It has been loose for over a month and he already has a "shark tooth" behind it. I think Quinn was just as excited about it as he was! It is under his pillow as I type :)

Mariners vs Giants

Zoo

Quinn, Grandma and I decided that Sunday was the perfect opportunity to go to the zoo. Aiden, Jas and Grandpa were going to a Mariner's game that day and Aiden HATES the zoo and refuses to go, so Quinn lucked out and finally got to go back to the zoo! She had SO much fun having all of Mommy and Grandma's attention and lots of special treats! Her favorite part was the bird house with the (scary!!!) birds flying all over the place. I had to make a speedy exit after snapping a few pics! She also LOVES snakes and had a wonderful time looking at the snakes in the reptile house.

Mother's Day

We had a nice Mother's Day. We had breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa's- nutella crepes, of course (or chocolate sandwiches as Aiden calls them). We had a lazy day hanging out and relaxing (and eating) at Mom and Dad's. This was Leo's weekend, so I loved the last page of Aiden's journal entry and took a picture :)

Leo the Lobster

This was Aiden's weekend to take Leo the Lobster home from school. He hung out with us and at the end of the weekend Aiden had a journal to write in about the adventures he had with Leo.
We played baseball and at one point Aiden saw a spider web- notice the screaming. Yet 30 minutes later he told Quinn "bugs don't bother me".
